When you have reached the point in the How do I upload data from my Omnipod System using my computer? (Eros) or How do I upload an Omnipod DASH™ using my computer? (DASH) article steps, around locating and selecting the .ibf file for data upload, please take careful steps to identify the corresponding file for the correct patient and device in-hand.Either Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer (PC) will open to the available resources on your machine. Select the Omnipod® device:
- Called “NO NAME” on Mac or “Removable Disk” on PC for Eros OmniPod
- Called “Android” on Mac and PC for DASH OmniPod
When uploading the Omnipod PDM’s and accessing the file location for the .ibf file, you must verify that the Serial number for the PDM matches the serial number listed in the file name. After you have verified that they match, you can click confirm to continue the uploading process. However, if the serial numbers do not match, you will need to click Cancel, and then confirm the file location for the .ibf file.
