You can easily upload data from your NovoPen® 6 or NovoPen Echo® Plus to your Glooko account using the Glooko® Mobile app.
Before you start:
- You will need a compatible smartphone with an NFC chip to upload data from your NovoPen® 6 or NovoPen Echo® Plus.
- Download or open the Glooko® Mobile App and log-in. The Glooko® Mobile App is available in the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android).
- Make sure that the pen’s dose button is fully pushed, and the dose counter is at zero.
Upload your NovoPen® 6 and NovoPen Echo® Plus to your Glooko Account
- Open the Glooko app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Manage Devices button in the top right of your home screen.

Under Connect a device select Insulin Pen & Pumps.
- Search for NovoPen and tap on the Plus Symbol (+) to add your NovoPen.

Tap on Next.

Select the Insulin Type and select Done.

Follow on-screen instructions to complete the upload.
We recommend laying your phone on a flat surface and holding your NovoPen onto your phone to reduce any movement that could disrupt the data transfer.
- After successfully uploading, you can view your insulin data in a variety of charts and reports.
How to locate the NFC chip on your phone?
Normally the NFC chip is fitted at the center of the back of the phone, but this can vary between different models. Please contact the mobile phone manufacturer if there are any connectivity issues between the pen and the phone and to find out where the NFC chip is located on your phone.
