The Omnipod® 5 allows users to select from two modes of insulin delivery: Automated mode and Manual mode. Automated mode uses the CGM values and trends to make an insulin dose adjustment every 5 minutes using a customized glucose target. The customized glucose target will display as the BG target line on the Glooko reports. In Manual Mode, the System delivers insulin using a programmed basal rate.
Viewing the system details of your Omnipod® 5 on your Glooko reports provides an overview of what modes were responsible for insulin delivery from your Omnipod® 5 over the time range selected. To learn more about the Omnipod® 5 modes and the Omnipod® 5 system, including when the device will be available for you, please visit Insulet’s Omnipod® 5 FAQs.
