For Glooko clinics utilizing an existing EHR integration, Professionals may now manually check in their patients with only cloud-connected devices (e.g. Omnipod 5) to send patient data to their EHR.
For patients with devices which can be synced in clinic (via the Glooko Uploader or Glooko Transmitter), their data will continue to be sent to the clinic's EHR once the device is assigned to the patient after an upload is performed.
After Glooko has received a respective patient check-in or arrival notification from your EHR, using the In Clinic button will trigger your existing EHR integration (either PDF or Flowsheets Stats.)
Checking in your Cloud-Connected Patients
The check-in workflow is intended solely for patients who only use cloud-connected devices. If your patient uses a cloud-connected device in conjunction with a device that is uploaded via Transmitter or Uploader, do not use the check-in flow. For these patients, their data will be shared with your EHR upon assignment of the uploaded devie.
To trigger your EHR integration for cloud-connected patients:
- Login to your Glooko account at my.glooko.com
- In the search bar, search for your patient via MRN or Name
- In the search results, select the Check in button in-line with the patient name
Note: in order for the PDF or Flowsheets Stat to send to your EHR, Glooko must have a received a respective patient check-in or arrival notification from your EHR
Once a patient is checked in, you will not be able to undo this action.
EHR integrations are currently only available for Glooko clinics with a direct subscription. Sponsored accounts are ineligible for EHR integrations.
