Welcome! We'd love to have you in the Glooko family!
For these instructions in PDF format, please see Getting started with Glooko®
To get started with Glooko, you'll need:
A Glooko account
If you received an email invite from your clinic, you may activate your Glooko account by clicking on the link in the email and following the on-screen tutorial. If you know your clinic uses Glooko but have not received an email invite, you may always ask your provider to send you an invite!
You may also register for a new Glooko account by following the steps outlined in How do I create and access my Glooko account?
The Glooko mobile or web app
Install the Glooko mobile app on a compatible Android or Apple/iOS device (for instructions on downloading the app, click here!) and/or access the Glooko web app at my.glooko.com on a computer (Mac or PC) with a compatible web browser.
A compatible diabetes device (optional)
If you have a compatible blood glucose (BG) meter, continuous glucose monitor (CGM) or insulin pump or pen, you can sync your diabetes data with your Glooko account!
Syncing hardware for your diabetes device (if applicable)
If you indicated which diabetes device(s) you use during the registration process, the necessary syncing hardware will be mailed to you after you create your Glooko account (you can always order additional hardware at any time).
NOTE: We are only able to ship hardware within the US.
I have everything I need. Now what?
ProConnecting to your Provider
If you activated your account via invite from your clinic, you should already be ProConnected to your clinic, allowing your provider to view any data you remotely upload!
If you self-registered for a Glooko account, you'll first want to reach out to your healthcare provider and request their clinic's ProConnect code. If they're unsure where to find it, you may point them to our article Where can I find my clinic's ProConnect Code? Once you've received their unique code, you may add this within your Glooko account from either the mobile or web app by following the steps outlined in How do I ProConnect with my healthcare provider?
Sync your diabetes device
Once you have your syncing hardware, you can now upload your diabetes device to Glooko! If your device is compatible via the mobile app, you can begin syncing directly to your phone. There are three methods of uploading via mobile: via cable, via Bluetooth, and via MeterSync™ Blue (US only). For steps to sync via your device's upload method, select the relevant article below:
-
Pairing and syncing Bluetooth-enabled diabetes devices with Glooko

Pairing and syncing diabetes devices using the Glooko MeterSync™ Blue
Some diabetes devices, such as the Omnipod 5 or Dexcom devices, may be wirelessly synced by connecting your device account to Glooko. To see which devices are capable of wireless syncing, please see our list of account integrations.
You can also sync your device via your computer through the use of the Glooko Uploader. First, install the Glooko Uploader program by following the steps outlined in How do I install the Glooko® Uploader? Once installed, please ensure you restart your computer. You can then upload your device to your Glooko account by following the instructions in How do I upload diabetes data on the web using the Glooko Uploader?
Generating PDF Reports for Clinics
If your clinic is unable to view your data remotely because they're not currently using the Glooko platform, you are still able to share your data by generating a PDF report! By generating a PDF report, you are able to email your diabetes data to your healthcare provider by following the steps for generating and sharing a report using the Glooko web app. Similarly, you can also share a report directly from the mobile app!
