The instructions below detail how to determine your ReliOn Premier Blu version, as well as the steps necessary to pair your meter with the Glooko Mobile App.

Determining your Meter Version
Before you may pair your ReliOn Premier Blu with the Glooko Mobile App, determine the meter version you have. Pairing instructions are different for each version.
To determine your meter version, please look on the back of your ReliOn Premier Blu meter for the Serial Number (SN). The serial number will be prefaced with SN(21).
- If your meter begins with SN(21)F051, please follow the instructions for pairing your F051 ReliOn Premier Blu
- If your meter begins with SN(21)F088, please follow the instructions for pairing your F088 ReliOn Premier Blu
Pairing your F051 ReliOn Premier Blu
To start the pairing process for your ReliOn Premier Blu, open the Glooko Mobile App on your smartphone, and login if necessary. Ensure that your phone's bluetooth is turned on.
- From the app home screen, select Sync Device
- If this is the first time you are syncing the meter, select Add New Device
- Tap to place a checkmark next to Blood Glucose Meters
- Tap to place a checkmark next to Premier Blu
- Click Add(1)
- If you have previously synced the meter, select the meter from your list of devices
- If this is the first time you are syncing the meter, select Add New Device
- You will be prompted to select your device version. Select F051.
- On your meter, press and hold the center button for 3 seconds to enter Set mode
- SET will appear and No will blink at the bottom left of your meter screen
- On the Glooko Mobile App, select Next.
- On your meter, press either the left or right arrow until the meter displays Yes
- Press the center button to enter the Bluetooth setting.
- The screen will display bT
- Press either the < or > button on the meter. The meter screen will first display OFF, then ON, and finally PAIR
- When PAIR is blinking, press the center button on the meter
- On the Glooko Mobile App, press Next
- On your meter, a six digit PIN code will appear
- On the Glooko Mobile App, press Next and you will be prompted to enter the six digit PIN displayed on your meter
- Enter the PIN for syncing to begin
If you are using an Android device, ensure that the background syncing toggle is set to on to allow for the meter to sync while the Glooko app is closed. Background syncing is enabled by default for iOS phones and does not need to be toggled on.
Pairing your F088 ReliOn Premier Blu
To start the pairing process for your ReliOn Premier Blu, open the Glooko Mobile App on your smartphone, and login if necessary. Ensure that your phone's bluetooth is turned on.
Note: If your meter turns off at any point during the pairing process, pairing will fail and you will need to restart the process.
- From the app home screen, select Sync Device
- If this is the first time you are syncing the meter, select Add New Device
- Tap to place a checkmark next to Blood Glucose Meters
- Tap to place a checkmark next to Premier Blu
- Click Add(1)
- If you have previously synced the meter, select the meter from your list of devices
- If this is the first time you are syncing the meter, select Add New Device
- You will be prompted to select your device version. Select F088.
- On the Glooko Mobile App, select Next. The app screen will display Searching.
- With your meter off, press and hold the > button on the meter until bT displays and SEND blinks on the screen
- Your phone will display a prompt to pair with the meter. Select Pair.
- On your meter, you will see a prompt to pair. Select the center button to accept.
- Your meter will begin to sync
If you are using an Android device, ensure that the background syncing toggle is set to on to allow for the meter to sync while the Glooko app is closed.
