Insulin averages display on the Summary page on the Glooko web app and on the Home screen on the Glooko Mobile app. These statistics contain the average amount of insulin delivered as basal and bolus doses, as well as average daily doses.
The number of days utilized to calculate the insulin averages depends on the source device of the insulin data.
Insulin averages display in separate sections on the Glooko Web and Mobile Apps.
Insulin averages on the web app
Insulin data on the Glooko Web App groups under two sections:
- Insulin - Device: insulin data synced from insulin pumps and/or insulin pens
- Insulin - Manual: insulin data manually entered into the Glooko Mobile App
The insulin averages within each section are calculated by the following logic:
- Insulin - Device
- If the card contains insulin data from both an insulin pump and an insulin pen: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of days with insulin data within the reporting range
- If the card contains insulin data only from an insulin pump: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of days with insulin data within the reporting range
- If the card contains insulin data only from an insulin pen: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of calendar days within the reporting range
- Insulin - Manual: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of calendar days within the reporting range
Insulin averages on the mobile app
Insulin data on the Glooko Mobile App groups under three sections:
- Insulin - Pump: insulin data synced from an insulin pump
- Insulin - Pen: insulin data synced from an insulin pen
- Insulin - Manual: insulin data manually entered into the Glooko Mobile App

- Insulin - Pump: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of days with insulin data within the reporting range
- Insulin - Pen: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of calendar days within the reporting range
- Insulin - Manual: averages are calculated by daily insulin amounts divided by the total number of calendar days within the reporting range
