You may import your blood glucose readings from your FreeStyle Libre 1, FreeStyle Libre 2, or FreeStyle Libre 3 into Glooko® through the use of the Abbott CSV Importer, now available in the Glooko Web App! Importing your data into Glooko is a two-step process, beginning first with exporting your FreeStyle Libre data from LibreView and importing the file into your Glooko account.

How to export your data from LibreView
Before you can import your values into your Glooko account, you need to export the data from LibreView. Even if you usually only use the LibreLink application, you have a LibreView account.
- Log in at www.libreview.com using the same credentials as LibreLink.
- In the upper left corner, please click on the icon showing a CGM-curve, called Glucose History
- In the upper right corner, please click on Download Glucose Data, showing an arrow pointing downwards.
- Please confirm you are not a robot.
- Click on the blue box Download in order to export the CSV file
- Save the CSV file on your computer where you may quickly access it (e.g. in the download folder, or to your desktop). This will be the file you will import into your Glooko account.
Please Note: At this time, Glooko only accepts blood glucose readings from the FreeStyle Libre 1, 2 or 3. Any other data exported (insulin, ketones, carbs, etc.) will not be imported.
How to import your data into Glooko for the first time
Once you have downloaded your CSV file from LibreView:
- Select the circle with the account initials in the top right
- Choose Settings
- Scroll to the Apps & Devices section
- Select Upload Abbott Data
- Select Upload from the pop-up screen
- A file browser will appear. Select the CSV file you've downloaded from LibreView and select Open or Upload (dependent on operating system).
Note: the CSV file is typically titled FirstnameLastname_glucose_timestamp.csv. For example, for patient Jane Doe who exported her data on April 7, 2022, the file name is JaneDoe_glucose_4-7-2022.csv. - Once the file is selected from the file browser, the upload will start. The upload can take several minutes, depending on the amount of data to import.
- Once complete, the pop up will indicate Upload Successful. You may select View Data to immediately view your uploaded data or select Done to stay on your current page.
Once you've uploaded your first LibreView CSV, the upload option appears as a quick link along the header on the user's Summary page, as outlined below.

Best Practices for Importing
To ensure a successful upload:
- Ensure you are using the file as downloaded from LibreView. Resaving the file may change the format from .csv which can prevent the file from importing successfully
- If your import does fail, please include the .csv file exported from LibreView in your Support request, as it will help our team investigate the failure
