Depending on the type(s) of insulin data available in a patient's Glooko account, his or her insulin data may display differently.
In this article, you can learn how data is displayed for:
A single type of insulin
If the patient has only insulin data from an insulin pump or pen, their insulin data groups under the header Insulin - Device, along with the type of the source device(s).
If they only have manually entered insulin data, the insulin data groups under the header Insulin - Manual.
Summary screen
On the Summary screen of the Glooko web app, the insulin data will be grouped by Basal, Bolus and Premixed insulin - and color-coded accordingly - for the timeframe selected.
Charts and graphs
In charts and graphs in the Glooko web app, the insulin data displays on a single row. If the insulin data is synced from insulin pumps and/or pens, the chart will indicate Insulin - Device.
If the insulin data is only manually entered, the chart will indicate Insulin - Manual. Color-coding will be used to differentiate between Basal, Bolus and Premixed insulin for the timeframe selected.
Multiple types of insulin
If the patient has insulin data from an insulin pump and/or pen along with manually entered insulin data, the insulin pump and insulin pen data will be displayed as Insulin - Device while any manually-entered insulin data will be displayed as Insulin - Manual.
Summary screen
On the Summary page, the Combined Daily Dose of insulin displays at the top, providing an overview of insulin data from all entry methods (pump, pen, and/or manually entered). Within Combined Daily Dose:
- Bolus Calculations include bolus insulin entries from insulin pumps and manual short-acting insulin entries
- Basal Calculations include basal insulin entries from insulin pumps and manual long-acting insulin entries
- Premixed calculations include manual entries of premixed insulin.
The Insulin - Device section contains insulin data synced to Glooko from any insulin pump(s) or pen(s).
The Insulin - Manual section contains insulin data manually added to Glooko from the Glooko mobile app.
Charts and graphs
In charts and graphs in the Glooko web app, the Insulin - Device and Insulin - Manual data displays on separate rows. Hovering over the insulin bars displays a tooltip with additional information about the source device(s) and the amount of insulin received.
Color-coding is used to differentiate between Basal, Bolus and Premixed insulin for the timeframe selected.
