How is a patient's insulin data displayed in Glooko® Population Tracker?

Depending on the type(s) of insulin data available in a patient's Glooko account, his or her insulin data may display differently.

Let's learn how data is displayed for:

A single type of insulin

If a patient has ONLY insulin pump data OR Smart Pen (and/or manually entered) insulin data in his or her Glooko account, that insulin data will simply be displayed as Insulin.

Summary screen

On the Summary screen of the patient's account, insulin data will be grouped by Basal, Bolus and Premixed (mix of long-acting and short or rapid-acting) insulin - and color-coded accordingly - for the timeframe selected.

Charts and graphs

In charts and graphs, insulin data will be displayed on a single line. Color-coding will be used to differentiate between Basal, Bolus and Premixed insulin for the timeframe selected.

Multiple types of insulin

If the patient has insulin pump data AND Smart Pen (and/or manually entered) data in his or her Glooko account, pump data will be displayed as Insulin - Pump while Smart Pen (and/or manually entered) insulin data will be displayed as Insulin - Other.

Summary screen

On the Summary screen of the patient's account, the Combined Daily Dose of insulin will be displayed at the top, with Insulin - Pump and Insulin - Other data displayed below. Insulin data will be grouped by Basal, Bolus and Premixed (mix of long-acting and short or rapid-acting) insulin - and color-coded accordingly - for the timeframe selected.
