How do I sync my Arkray GlucoCard or ReliOn meter with Glooko®?

This article contains instructions for syncing data from your Arkray GlucoCard or ReliOn blood glucose (BG) meter with the Glooko mobile and web apps.

Sync using Bluetooth 

You can sync data from the following devices to the Glooko mobile app using Bluetooth:

  • GlucoCard Shine Connex
  • ReliOn Premier Blu

Sync using the MeterSync Blue 

You can sync data from the following devices to the Glooko mobile app using the MeterSync Blue:

  • GlucoCard 01
  • GlucoCard Shine XL
  • GlucoCard Vital
  • ReliOn Confirm
  • ReliOn Prime
  • ReliOn Premier Classic
  • ReliOn Premier Voice

Sync using a USB cable 

You can sync data from the following device to the Glooko mobile app using a USB cable:

  • GlucoCard Shine Express (Android only)

Before getting started, you will need:

  • The Glooko mobile app (Android)
  • Your BG meter
  • A Micro-to-Micro USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable (to learn how to order hardware from your mobile app, click here)

To sync your device with Glooko

    1. In your Glooko mobile app, tap Profile > Devices > My Devices to access the Sync menu and view a list of all of your devices
    2. From the Sync menu, add and/or select the device you would like to sync.
      • If your meter is listed, tap Sync beside the name of the meter you would like to sync.
      • If your meter is not listed:
        • Tap Add Device (Android).
        • Tap to place a checkmark (checkmark.png) beside Blood Glucose Meters, then tap Continue.
        • Tap to place a checkmark (checkmark.png) beside the device you would like to sync, tap Done, then tap Add at the bottom of the screen.

          NOTE: After adding your device, you can complete the setup process at a later time by tapping Set Up beside the device on the Sync menu.
        • Next, tap Sync beside the name of the meter you would like to sync.
    3. You will automatically be taken through an in-app syncing tutorial. Tap Next and follow the on-screen prompts to complete this process and sync your data. 

      NOTE: To skip the tutorial, tap the X button at the top-left of the screen. To prevent seeing this tutorial in the future, toggle the button beside "Don't show this tutorial again" to the right.
    4. Plug one end of the Micro-to-Micro USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable into your Android mobile device, then tap Next.
    5. Plug the other end of the cable into your meter, then tap Next.
    6. Push the center button on your meter.
    7. Wait for your meter to display "Pc."
    8. Tap Sync in your Glooko mobile app. 

 
Upload using the Glooko Uploader

You can upload data from the following devices to the Glooko web app using the Glooko Uploader:

  • GlucoCard Shine Connex
  • GlucoCard Shine Express
  • GlucoCard Shine XL
  • ReliOn Premier Blu
  • ReliOn Premier Classic
  • ReliOn Premier Voice
