How do I change the date and time on my Bayer Contour USB?

Having the wrong time or date on your Bayer Contour USB meter can cause issues when trying to sync with Glooko. By following a few easy steps, you can make sure your data is there when you expect it to be.

In order to change the date and time on your Bayer Contour USB meter, simply follow the below instructions. 

1. Press and hold the power button to the turn the meter on. Press the Menu button to go to the Main Menu.
2. Press the Setup button.
3. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Time. Press the OK button
4. To change the time, press the Change button.
5. Select either the 12 or 24 hour clock button.
6. Press the ▲ or ▼button to select the correct hour. Press the OK button.
7. Press the ▲ or ▼ button top select the correct minute. Press the OK button.
8. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select the correct AM/PM. Press the OK button.

A screen confirms the time you entered. If correct, press the Done button and the Setup menu will appear.

If you need to make changes, press the Change button and repeat the process.

Changing the Date

1. Press the Menu button to go to the Main Menu.
2. Press the Setup
3. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Date.  Press the OK

 To change the date, press the Change button.

Select either the Month/Day/Year or Day.Month.Year button

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select the correct year. Press the OK button.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select the correct month. Press the OK button.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select the correct day. Press the OK button.

A screen confirms the date you entered. If correct, press the Done button and the Setup menu will appear.

If you need to make changes, press the Change button and repeat the process. Otherwise, press and hold the power button to turn off the meter.
