How do I pair my MeterSync™ Blue to my mobile device?

The MeterSync Blue is an important piece of hardware that may be required to sync some diabetes devices with the Gloooko mobile app. You can have your MeterSync Blue up and running with just a few steps!

NOTE: The MeterSync Blue needs to be paired to your device in order to use it. It will need to be paired any time you log out of your account, if you get a new MeterSync Blue device or if you delete the current pairing. 

In this article, you can learn how to:



Pair your MeterSync Blue (iOS)

  1. Tap More, then tap Profile.
  2. On the Devices menu, tap MeterSync Blue. 

    • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.

  3. Tap Setup New Device.
  4. Press and hold the blue button on your MeterSync Blue for at least one second to turn it ON. 
    • If the light on your MeterSync Blue does not light up when you press the button, tap What now? to see detailed on-screen troubleshooting instructions.
  5. Once your MeterSync Blue light is blinking green, tap Next at the bottom of the screen.
  6. If the pairing was successful, you will be directed to a screen that says MeterSync Blue Found! Tap Done.
    • If the pairing was NOT successful, ensure the light on the MeterSync Blue is ON and tap Try Again. You can also tap Need Help? to access detailed on-screen troubleshooting instructions.



Pair your MeterSync Blue (Android)

  1. Tap to expand the side navigation menu, then tap Profile.
  2. On the Devices menu, tap MeterSync Blue.
    • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  3. Tap Setup New Device.
  4. Press and hold the blue button on your MeterSync Blue for at least one second to turn it ON. 
    • If the light on your MeterSync Blue does not light up when you press the button, tap What now? to see detailed on-screen troubleshooting instructions.
  5. Once your MeterSync Blue light is blinking green, tap Next at the bottom of the screen.
  6. If the pairing was successful, you will be directed to a screen that says MeterSync Blue Found! Tap Done.
    • If the pairing was NOT successful, ensure the light on the MeterSync Blue is ON and tap Try Again. You can also tap Need Help? to access detailed on-screen troubleshooting instructions.
