How do I set a Reminder on my Glooko mobile app?

You can set reminders to test your blood sugar, take insulin, take medication, or even create a custom text reminder. Based on the time of day and day of the week you select for your reminder, you will receive a notification on your mobile device.
 

First, we need to Create the Reminder:

Accessing the Reminders screen varies slightly by mobile device type:

  • Android: Tap the Side Menu button (three lines) in the top left corner of the Secondary Navigation Bar. Tap Reminders.
  • iOS: Tap the More icon in the Primary Navigation BarTap Reminders.​


From the Reminders screen:

  • Tap the + icon (top right).
  • Tap the Time of Day. Scroll to select the time. Click Done.
  • Tap the Day(s) of the Week. Add or remove the check next to the day of the week that you would like the reminder to appear.

 

Next, let's set the reminder type:

 

Set a Reminder to Test your Blood Sugar

  • Click on the Test your Blood Sugar row – the row will turn green.
  • If you change your mind, click on the row again – it will turn back to white.
  • Add another reminder or click Save (top right).

Set a Reminder to Take Insulin

  • Click on the Take Insulin row – the row will turn purple.
  • If you change your mind, click on the row again – it will turn back to white.
  • Click enter insulin to select your insulin brand from the list of insulin provided.
  • If you do not see your insulin brand listed, click Add New Insulin and type in the insulin brand’s name. Click Done.
  • Click units to enter in the insulin dosage. Click

Add another insulin reminder, a different type of reminder, or click Save (top right).

Set a Reminder to Take Medication

  • Click on the Take Medication row – the row will turn purple.
  • If you change your mind, click on the row again – it will turn back to white.
  • Click enter medication to select your medication from the list of oral and injectable medications provided.
  • If you do not see your insulin brand listed, click Add New Oral Medication and type in the insulin brand’s name. Click Done.
  • Click mg to enter in the medication dosage. Click
  • Add another medication reminder, a different type of reminder, or click Save (top right).

Set a Custom Reminder

  • Click on the Custom row – the row will turn blue.
  • If you change your mind, click on the row again – it will turn back to white.
  • Click Enter text to type your own reminder. Click Done.
  • Add another reminder or click Save (top right).

Finally, tap "Save" to set the reminder (top right).
