How do I connect my third-party fitness and health apps and devices to Glooko®?

Glooko makes getting all of your data in one place easy - and that includes your fitness and health data! You can connect your third-party apps and devices to your Glooko account in just a few quick steps.

Let's learn how to:

NOTE: You can connect to all compatible fitness trackers through the Glooko mobile app (Android or iOS) or the Glooko web app.


 

Connect to Apple Health

In order to connect your Apple Health account to the Glooko app, you will need:

  • Glooko mobile app
  • Apple Health account


To connect via the Glooko mobile app

  1. Tap Sync at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Tap New Device.
  3. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitness and Health Devices, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap to place a checkmark beside Apple Health, then tap Continue.
  5. Tap Connect.
  6. Toggle ON the ability for Glooko to read data from Apple Health, then tap Allow.
  7. A confirmation screen will display indicating your account has been successfully connected. Tap Done to exit the setup screen.

NOTE: You may have to wait 10-30 minutes before your data initially appears in your account, then your data will begin syncing automatically.



Connect to Fitbit

In order to connect your Fitbit to the Glooko app, you will need:

  • Glooko mobile or web app
  • Fitbit account


To connect via the Glooko mobile app

  1. Tap Sync at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Tap New Device.
  3. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitness and Health Devices, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitbit, then tap Continue.
  5. Below Fitbit, tap CONNECT +.
  6. Enter your Fitbit account credentials, then tap Login.
  7. Tap to place a checkmark beside which data you would like to sync to Glooko from Fitbit, then tap Allow.
  8. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Apps & Devices screen, where you can confirm that your Fitbit account is now connected.


To connect via the Glooko web app

  1. Click Settings at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and click Connect Apps & Devices.
  3. Below Fitbit, click CONNECT +.
  4. Enter your Fitbit account credentials, then click Login.
  5. Checkmark which data you would like to sync to Glooko from Fitbit, then click Allow.
  6. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Connect Apps & Devices page, where you can confirm that your Fitbit account is now connected.

NOTE: You may have to wait 10-30 minutes before your data initially appears in your account, then your data will begin syncing automatically.


 

Connect to iHealth

In order to connect your iHealth account to Glooko, you will need:

  • Glooko mobile or web app
  • iHealth account


To connect via the Glooko mobile app

  1. Tap Sync at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Tap New Device.
  3. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitness and Health Devices, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap to place a checkmark beside iHealth, then tap Continue.
  5. Below iHealth, tap CONNECT +.
  6. Enter your iHealth account credentials, then tap Login.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your iHealth account.
  8. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Apps & Devices screen, where you can confirm that your iHealth account is now connected.


To connect via the Glooko web app

  1. Click Settings at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and click Connect Apps & Devices.
  3. Below iHealth, click CONNECT +.
  4. Enter your iHealth account credentials, then click Login.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your iHealth account.
  6. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Connect Apps & Devices page, where you can confirm that your iHealth account is now connected.

Connect to Withings

In order to connect your Withings account to Glooko, you will need:

  • Glooko mobile or web app
  • Withings account 


To connect via the Glooko mobile app

  1. Tap Sync at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Tap New Device.
  3. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitness and Health Devices, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap to place a checkmark beside Nokia, then tap Continue.
  5. Below Withings, tap CONNECT +.
  6. Enter your Withings account credentials, then tap Login.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Withings account.
  8. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Apps & Devices screen, where you can confirm that your Withings account is now connected.


To connect via the Glooko web app

  1. Click Settings at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and click Connect Apps & Devices.
  3. Below Withings, click CONNECT +.
  4. Enter your Withings account credentials, then click Login.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Withings account.
  6. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Connect Apps & Devices page, where you can confirm that your Withings account is now connected.

Connect to Runkeeper

In order to connect your Runkeeper account to Glooko, you will need:

  • Glooko mobile or web app
  • Runkeeper account


To connect via the Glooko mobile app

  1. Tap Sync at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Tap New Device.
  3. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitness and Health Devices, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap to place a checkmark beside Runkeeper, then tap Continue.
  5. Below Runkeeper, tap CONNECT +.
  6. Enter your Runkeeper account credentials, then tap Login.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Runkeeper account.
  8. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Apps & Devices screen, where you can confirm that your Runkeeper account is now connected.


To connect via the Glooko web app

  1. Click Settings at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and click Connect Apps & Devices.
  3. Below Runkeeper, click CONNECT +.
  4. Enter your Runkeeper account credentials, then click Login.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Runkeeper account.
  6. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Connect Apps & Devices page, where you can confirm that your Runkeeper account is now connected.

Connect to Strava

In order to connect your Runkeeper account to Glooko, you will need:

  • Glooko mobile or web app
  • Strava account


To connect via the Glooko mobile app

  1. Tap Sync at the top-right of your screen.
  2. Tap New Device.
  3. Tap to place a checkmark beside Fitness and Health Devices, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap to place a checkmark beside Strava, then tap Continue.
  5. Below Strava, tap CONNECT +.
  6. Enter your Strava account credentials, then tap Login.
  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Strava account.
  8. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Apps & Devices screen, where you can confirm that your Strava account is now connected.


To connect via the Glooko web app

  1. Click Settings at the top-right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down to the Apps & Devices section and click Connect Apps & Devices.
  3. Below Strava, click CONNECT +.
  4. Enter your Strava account credentials, then click Login.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Strava account.
  6. Once setup is complete, you will be redirected to the Connect Apps & Devices page, where you can confirm that your Strava account is now connected.
